Food Safety - Processing, a Growing Forward initiative to facilitate effective risk management.
The cost-share funds for the Food Safety Processing (Processor) program under Growing Forward for 2009-10 have now been committed. We will no longer be accepting applications this year.
There is limited funding in the Food Safety Processing Processor Program. Applications were being considered for approval on a first come first served basis subject to the Program funding constraints.
The Food Safety — Processing program
The Food Safety - Processing program is targeted at facilities operating in Alberta that are:
Applicants must not be a federally registered meat, poultry or meat storage facility, processed fruit and vegetable, honey, dairy,fish/seafood facility. Retail and foodservice are not eligible for this funding.
You must complete and submit a work plan before funds will be made available. Please complete an application form to begin. To find out more about the program or to be put in touch with an ARD specialist contact the Ag-Info Centre at 310-FARM.
